Martin Truex, Jr. has led the most laps in a Cup race at Kansas four times in his career, but not until Saturday night did he finally win one. Truex led 104 of 267 laps, but it came down to a final restart with two laps left before he could claim victory. He edged ahead of pole sitter Ryan Blaney and held on for his second win of the season.
With the rain and the wrecks, it was a matter of survival, and in the end, it was Aric Almirola claiming his first career Sprint Cup victory in the rain-shortened Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.
