December 19, 2012 When I woke up today I saw a story on facebook about a woman who was up to her eyeballs in Christmas shopping and was at the end of her string. Just about the time she was ready to pull her hair out, a man showed her some kindness and gave her his place in line so she could get through quicker. That inspired me to find other acts of kindness.
August 23, 2012 Jason Aldean is one of the hottest young acts in country music. As you may or may not know, Aldean has sold out Darien Lake Performing Arts Center and has had super success with his last album My Kinda Party. Next up is Night Train, which is due out October 16.
July 10, 2012 Monday was a good day for a bunch of country music fans that work here at WYRK. New music rolled in … Zac Brown Band’s Uncaged (see Brett Alan’s post) and also the new radio single from Tim McGraw called, “Truck Yeah.” Let me tell you, Tim is ready to go for this summer. There are two songs that have been getting great reaction at some of his latest shows and those are “Mexicoma” and “Truck Yeah.”
