Fans are getting ready to be entertained for the weekend; country stars are getting settled and fitted for their awards night attire; and superstar Blake Shelton is getting ready (physically and mentally) for his second year as an ACM co-host with Reba McEntire. Though this is McEntire’s 14th consecutive year and she could do this show in her sleep, Shelton, who will be performing as well, admitted to some nerves.

March 26, 2012 Miranda Lambert has remained down to earth after all the success she’s had in recent years. She still likes to cook and loves a good BBQ. Miranda is known for her sauce and the special ingredient she includes to give it a bit of a kick. Miranda’s mother taught her the sauce recipe which includes a ¼ cup of beer. The BBQ recipe was actually passed on from her grandpa’s days in the military. The sauce isn’t the only family recipe that Miranda loves to tackle, she also makes a mean peanut butter cookie another recipe passed on to her by her family.
