Not everyone loves the Hallmark holiday known as Valentine's Day -- especially those who are single and unattached. Even though Blake Shelton is married to one of the most beautiful and most desirable women in country music (Miranda Lambert, of course), you still won't find him cheerleading the holiday with a flowers in one hand and a stuffed bear under the other arm. In fact, he participates sorta begrudgingly -- just like the rest of the guys!
It's no shock that Blake Shelton's 'Sure Be Cool if You Did' video takes place at the local watering hole. Shelton makes no bones about his enjoyment of liquid refreshment. But this video and the song aren't about throwing 'em back and having a good time, or partying mindlessly while ignoring the prospect of hangovers. It's more thoughtful and contemplative.
Blake Shelton fans sure got their fill of good news regarding the singer this morning (Feb. 11). Not only did he share his 'Sure Be Cool If You Did' video, but the singer also confirmed that he will release a new album entitled 'Based on a True Story…' on March 26.

Actress Betty White has had a long, long career in television, and a host of entertainment industry heavyweights assembled on Tuesday night (Feb. 5) to pay tribute to the beloved 91-year-old performer in a special that was comically titled 'Betty White's 2nd Annual 90th Birthday.' It turns out Blake Shelton is Reba McEntire's brother! Well... maybe not in real life. But the current CMA Entertainer of the Year has officially signed on to appear in an upcoming episode of his fellow Okie's new hit comedy series, 'Malibu Country.'
If Blake Shelton really wants to make up for his recent comments about classic country fans being "old farts," it looks like he's going to have the chance. The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year has been offered a gig opening for country legend Ray Price, who publicly took him to task after his comments went viral.
Kelly Clarkson had been rather quiet about her pending nuptials, but the 'Don't Rush' singer is now opening up about the ceremony -- which will likely take place toward the end of 2013.
If you haven't heard already, Blake Shelton got himself into a bit of hot water with some classic country singers, including one of his favorites -- Ray Price. In his GAC "Backstory" profile, Blake said, "Nobody wants to listen to their grandpa's music." Now he's got a friend taking to Twitter to back him up.
Legendary country star Ray Price is not happy with reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton, and he's not afraid to say so in public. In a Facebook post today, the 87-year-old entertainer took issue with comments Shelton made to GAC, in which he derided old country fans for not understanding the music of the new generation.
