Ambrose Makes It Two In A Row At The Glen

For the second year in a row Marcos Ambrose wins at Watkins Glen, but he got a big helping hand. Oil on the track from the car of Bobby Labonte jumbled the running order and it set up a final lap duel between Ambrose and Brad Keselowski. Ambrose made the right move on the final turn and not only gave him the win but his fourth straight top-three finish.

Keselowski Uses Late Pass To Win At Talladega [VIDEO]

The pack was back at Talladega and it was in response to fan complaints that they didn’t like the tandem style racing we saw at the restrictor plate tracks last year.  NASCAR made adjustments and it brought back the high speed, on the edge of your seat type racing that fans really enjoy.  After a crash with four laps left, it came down to a two lap race to the finish and it was Brad Keselowski who used a big push from Kyle Busch to get by Matt Kenseth, and then held off Busch for his second win this season.

Keselowski Holds Off Kenseth At Bristol [VIDEO]

Four races so far this season and four different winners in four different brand cars.  Brad Keselowski led a race-high 231 of the 500 laps to win his second straight race at Bristol.  He was the winner of last year’s fall race there.  Keselowski battled Matt Kenseth on several late restarts including the final one with 17 laps left and pulled away for the victory.

Marcus Ambrose Wins First Sprint Cup Race At Watkins Glen

Finally a checkered flag for Marcus Ambrose. He won yesterday’s rain delayed road course race at Watkins Glen beating Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski in a two lap sprint. Busch led at the green flag for the final two laps, but Keselowski, then Ambrose got by him. Ambrose then chased down Keselowski, caught him and passed him entering the final lap and rolled to his first Sprint Cup victory.

Brad Keselowski Wins at Pocono For His Second Win Of The Season [VIDEO]

It was quite a week for Brad Keselowski.  There were some doubts whether he'd be able to drive at all on Sunday in the Sprint Cup race at Pocono after crashing into a wall earlier in the week at Atlanta.  And even with a broken left ankle Keselowski was determined to drive the number 2 Miller Lite Dodge.  And boy did he ever.  He pulled away from Kurt Busch on a late restart and held on for his second victory of the season.  And now in the top 20 in points his second win of the year gives him the number one wild card spot.

Pocono Round Two Nascar Preview

Sprint Cup and Trucks are at Pocono this weekend, Nationwide is at Iowa.  Can you believe Jeff Gordon is 40?  The four-time Cup champion celebrated his birthday yesterday and there'd be no greater gift than winning at Pocono again.

Gordon won there in June, tying Bill Elliott for most victories at Pocono with five and also picked up his 84th career win matching him with Bobby  Allison and  Darrell Waltrip  for third place on the series' all-time  race winners list.
