Because we’ve had such wild winter weather and there are no guarantees that Lake Erie will achieve the 12 inches of ice needed for safe hockey play, tournament officials are switching gears

With the NHL season on hold still, it looks like the only hockey that fans can look forward to is the annual Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament.  If you remember, last year, the game was played on pavement because of the unseasonably warm winter temperatures.
