Buffalo Could Host Some Future Olympic Events

It’s hard not to watch Olympic coverage on TV. The summer and winter games come only every four years so a lot of people feel they’re missing a piece of history if they don’t tune in – at least I do.

Following the London Games, the Olympics moves on to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016. Three cities are in contention for the 2020 games – Tokyo, Japan, Istanbul, Turkey and Madrid, Spain.

Josh’s Thoughts on the Taste of Buffalo Winners

The 29th annual Taste of Buffalo wrapped up yesterday, and I’m about five pounds heavier!  The weekend was a blast.  Dale and I had the difficult job of being judges on Saturday, but we were able to brave the elements and consume all the wonderful foods.

As judges, we each had to taste food from five vendors with a sixth as a write-in (if you had any more room in your stomach). I judged Kabab & Curry, which made a grilled piece of spicy chicken that was enormous and delicious -- best item on their menu. I also judged Alex's place (great ribs!), Mr. Bones, Zebbs and JP Bullfeathers.

This year’s winners were announced late Saturday.  Personally, I had a "beef" with a couple of the selections, but it is what it is.  Here are some of the winners…
