Word is Toby almost passed on the single because he had already released numerous patriotic toned songs and he thought it might be to much of a good thing. It was song writer Bobby Pinson who pushed the idea of recording “Made In America” on Toby and thank goodness he was able to sway Toby into recording it. And the rest they say is history!
