Taylor Swift's performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend went off without a hitch -- for the most part. A minor wardrobe malfunction proved that even those most put-together celebs can run into clothing mishaps. Luckily, even though a fan tugged too hard on Swift's dress and caused the strap to come undone, the country star was saved any embarrassment by the sequined shirt she wore underneath her dress. Otherwise, there could have been a Janet Jackson-like slip-up. Phew!

Yesterday afternoon I was making the drive from the WYRK studios in downtown Buffalo to Artpark in Lewiston. Between the accidents and the rain, it took me an hour and 20 minutes to complete the trek. After I arrived at Artpark, I began to wonder whether this concert would actually come off.
The members of Sugarland got the chance to make a young girl’s life brighter at a recent tour stop in Minnesota. Singer Jennifer Nettles and singer-songwriter Kristian Bush were performing at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel on Aug. 8 when they were joined onstage by a very special guest — a 4-year-old cancer patient named Avery.

June 20, 2012 Last night was a beautiful night for a show at Mickey Rats Beach Club, and James Wesley from Broken Bow records put on a fantastic show. I spoke with James before the show, and he mentioned how thankful he is to the fans in Western New York. He totally loved playing for a crowd of over 700 people along the water with a fantastic sunset. This was the fifth annual benefit show at Mickey Rats, where proceeds support the St. Luke’s Food Pantry, Wings of Hope and other area charities. I was impressed with the staff and thank Mickey Rats tremendously for their hospitality.
