Farmers with the American Dairy Association North East are planning to hand out thousands of gallons of milk��even more food this week right outside of Rochester in, Irondequoit. The folks will be handing out produce, meat and milk...lots of it....

Farmers have had to decrease their milk production by 15%. At the same time, there are people who are struggling to keep dairy products in their fridges at home. But that's where 16-year-old Rachel comes in. She has become the "Dairy Fairy."

People have been reporting that there are still limits on the amount of milk you can buy at the grocery store. Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz says there's no reason for limits

In just the first few months, the price of milk is down $3.54 from last year and things are not looking much better for the rest of 2018.
