April 27, 2013 It was a charity event and the concept was pretty simple. The Tampa, Fla. Women's Club offered a chance to win a one-carat $5000 diamond for just a $20 donation. The real diamond was placed at the bottom of one of 400 champagne flutes. The other glasses were filled with cubic zirconia stones valued at $10.
