Dierks Bentley and Elle King got good news bright and early on Wednesday morning (Nov. 2), when they were announced as the winners for Musical Event of the Year in the 2016 CMA Awards for "Different for Girls."
Before he took the stage as a performer, Dierks Bentley was working the CMA Awards backstage. As an intern, he was one of the crew members wearing a headset, helping stars like Shania Twain get on and off the stage.
Dierks Bentley has revealed his 2017 headlining tour with special guests Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi. The What the Hell World Tour will kick off Jan. 19 in Dayton, Ohio. A hilariously censored video only hints at the fun the three friends will be having.
Dierks Bentley stepped back and watched, becoming just another fan as his daughter Evie sang Elle King's part of "Different for Girls" in Indianapolis over the weekend.
