February 3, 2012 Dierks Bentley played the Ryman Auditorium last night as part of his 'Home' tour and brought along a special guest, his three year old daughter Evie. The pair sang a duet of "I'm Thinking of You" off of his most recent album 'Home'.
Dierks Bentley announced that he’s unrolling more U.S. dates for his Country and Cold Cans Tour. After touring around the States last fall with his tour, Bentley went international with a leg in Canada and then a set of dates in Australia. Now, the multi-platinum artist says he doesn’t want the tour to end just yet.
With the 2012 Grammy Awards fast approaching, we’re learning more every day about who will take the iconic stage to host, perform, present and (hopefully) win. The Recording Academy announced today that Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley are confirmed presenters for this year’s awards show. The two country stars will be joined by Drake and Gwyneth Paltrow, with more presenters to be announced in the coming weeks.
January 24, 2012 Dierks Bentley may have confused a few of his fans the other night when he tweeted, "jumped on stage with some dude playing a bar downtown Nashville tonight. he was pretty good..." Te 2012 Super Bowl takes place on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis, and the city is taking the hosting of the NFL event seriously. The powers-that-be have invited some country stars to be a part of the festivities. The city’s Pan Am Plaza is being turned into something called Super Bowl Village from Jan. 27 through Feb. 4, and country stars Dierks Bentley and Darius Rucker are on board to perform during those dates. Bentley and Rucker are essentially on the entertainment road leading up to the actual big game.
November 25, 2011 Every time a new artist rolls through Buffalo, I always wonder what their path was before country music. How did they get discovered? How did they make a living before hand? Day by day I'm going to start uncovering artisits to see how they once lived day in and day out before living the good life. Now, there is a show on GAC.com called "Day Jobs" but, some of us are not lucky enough to get that channel. Dierks Bentley's old job was probably the most unappealing.
November 23, 2011 Things I’m most thankful for this Thanksgiving. Well my dad had a scare last week and was taken to the hospital, everything turned out alright so I’m very thankful for that. November 10, 2011 I think it’s pretty cool to see that the Mansion on Delaware in Buffalo was recently inducted into Historic Hotels of America. It joins a relatively small list of iconic hotels in New York. I’ve never personally stayed at the hotel but I’ve had drinks there and know several people that have stayed at this charming hotel that some might say is haunted. Obviously there is no proof that the hotel is haunted but if you were to ask some of the hotel staff and a certain country superstar Dierks Bentley, they’d probably all say it is.
