You can't imagine the amount of work and time that goes into putting together the annual show we call the "Taste of Country."  Over the years we've learned a lot of things and made adjustments to produce a great, family event.  We try to cover all the bases, but one thing we have no control over is the weather.

If you need someone to blame for today’s not-so-fantastic weather, the Eli Young Band is ready to shoulder the responsibility. “I think we brought the rain with us,” said drummer Chris Thompson. “It was raining in Kansas City .”

Hard to beleive but the show is almost here. Tomorrow night, Coca-Cola field will be rocking for the 2012 Napa Auto Parts Taste Of Country. The show is sold-out and you know the crowd will be going crazy! If you are going to the show, I want to know which artist you are most excited about seeing...

Mike Eli couldn’t have looked more shocked when cameras focused on him and his bandmates reacting after their name was read as Song of the Year winners at the 2012 ACM Awards. The Eli Young Band singer remained seated for a moment before realizing his time to thank the appropriate people behind ‘Crazy Girl’ was wasting away.

"Crazy Girl" was a huge song for Taste Of Country 2012 stars Eli Young Band.  They were the ones who made it a hit.  But it was Lee Brice who wrote the song which was the most played song on the radio in 2011.  Check out how the version might have sounded if the writer actually recorded this one.

The Eli Young Band is coming to this years WYRK Napa Auto Parts Taste Of Country.  Something you should know about them (if you don't already) is that the lead singer is not named Eli Young.  As a matter of fact, no one in the band is named Eli Young.  Kind of like how there was no Hootie with the Blowfish.  The name comes from two of the band member's LAST names (Mike Eli and James Young).  But,

Like millions of Americans who watched President Obama’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night, the Eli Young Band paid close attention to the details of his message — at least for as long as they could before likely toppling over. A recent tweet from the band indicates they made a drinking game out of the 65-minute long speech.
