I had a chance to capture video of demolition crews removing 3 barns at the fairgrounds to make way for new barns in time for next years fair!

It is hard to believe that the fair has come and gone. I have to say it was one of the best yet for me. Met lots of great people and saw so many great things that make me proud to live here in Western New York.  People work so hard and spend so much time preparing for this event and I hope Iwas able to convey some of that in these blogs. What a thrill! two tracks and tons of horsepower. Gotta be a high light of the summer every year. Tonight we attended the tractor pull at the fair. They have another show on Saturday at 3! If you have never been to one, I have taken some video to show you what you are missing!

I had a chance to welcome fans at the WYRK  booth today. It is so cool to meet those of you that never get a chance to say hi in person!

It's gotta be every kids favorite part. I am still a bit of a kid at heart so I am always going to make it a point to try a few games on the Midway at the Fair! I gave it my best.

It is one of the oldest spectator sports at The Erie County Fair! The horse pulls! I have been announcing them for some time now and although I don't kn ow all there is to know, I sure love doing it!

Things just getting better at this years Erie County Fair. I was asked to help out the 4-H Swine and Poultry Auction. I was more than honored to be back helping them once again this year. If you have never seen an auction here is a little taste of what you can expect if you join on Saturday for the beef cow/lamb/sheep auctions.

Yet another great day at the Fair today. I had a chance to do very well in the 5k (3rd in my age group!) and hung around to take in some more of the great action of the 172nd Erie County Fair!

It is a fair favorite. The Racing Pigs. Even though I have been to the fair every year, I still make sure hat I see at least one of the races a year. They have even added a swimming pig!

What a great day. Had a chance to watch Randy Houser and also Pepper's first attempt at the Dock Dog Competition. Both amazing displays of talent! (says the proud poppa!)
