The WYRK/NAPA Auto Parts Taste of Country (#TOC2012) is in 2 days. This is probably one of the most anticipated TOC's that I can remember in my short career here at WYRK. I'll tell ya, this summer is shaping out to be a pretty nice one.....Eric Church...Zac Brown Band in September. If those are the only two big concerts I see this year....I'm set. Remembering Lucille Ball

It was today, back in 1989, that the world lost a legendary entertainer-Lucille Ball. Lucille Desiree Ball was born in Jamestown, New York back in August of 1911. From what I read, Ball lived in Western New York until she was 3 years old. At that point, her parents decided to pack up and head for Montana and then on to Michigan. I think it must have been all of the rain we had earlier this spring and summer, but the mosquitos this year have been worse than I can remember in recent years. Unless you see them land on you, you really have no idea they are on you until it's too late. I have numerous mosquito bites and they are very irritating until they go away.
