May 20, 2013 I am a massive Hootie & the Blowfish fan -- they put out two of my all-time favorite albums, 'Fairweather Johnson' and 'Cracked Rear View' (which can be played 13 times all the way through before you make it to Myrtle Beach from Buffalo -- I've tried). So when I heard they were disassembling, I was ticked.
With that bad news, who knew that a great new career -- Hootie frontman Darius Rucker's solo country career, of course -- was going to come from it?
