My wife and I took a cruise for our honeymoon and the original port was New Orleans. Neither of us had been there before and we were both very excited. Needless to say, we were both taken back by the culture of the city, but there was something else that stuck out in our minds about New Orleans long after we left.

We were there before Hurricane Katrina, but it seems as if New Orleans has a long way to go to clean up after Hurricane Katrina.
