McEntire's stepson, Brandon Blackstock (who managers Blake Shelton), will marry pop and country star Kelly Clarkson in the fall, and his proud stepmom gushed about her soon-to-be daughter-in-law in a new interview with Katie Couric.

Katie Couric Confirms She's Leaving CBS

In a story appearing on "People" magazine's website, Katie Couric has confirmed she's leaving the anchor desk on the "CBS Evening News." The "People" story confirmed rumors that she would be leaving but doesn't say what she plans to do next. Couric didn't reveal many details about her next move except to say she'd like to do more "multi-dimensional storytelling." She told "People" that she feels proud of the award-winning work she and the "CBS Evening News" team have done over the past five years. Her last day on the job is expected to be June 4th.
