Summerfest attendees in Wisconsin got a special treat this year, when young duo Dan + Shay joined country vet Keith Urban for a unique performance of his heart string-tugging hit “Tonight I Wanna Cry.”
We already know that the genre's biggest stars hang out together, like Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, who go fishing regularly. But in addition to their peers, country artists also spend time with celebrities from other walks, like acting.
Colt Ford and Keith Urban have crossed paths many times. The two were both scheduled to perform during the first night of the 2015 Taste of Country Festival, and they've recorded a song together called "She's Like."
Keith Urban's haircut went mostly under the radar at the 2015 CMT Music Awards, but at the Taste of Country Music Festival, the star was face-forward with a look that proves he's both with the times and in the moment.
The CMA has invited Keith Urban to be the first artist ambassador for their initiative Music Education Matters, as was announced at a press conference during the CMA Music Fest Thursday morning (June 11).
On “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” Keith Urban returns to more traditional country themes while continuing to push his sound in new directions. Lyrically, the funky new window to his next studio album is immediately relatable. It won’t need the time songs like “Cop Car” and “Raise ‘Em Up” needed to cook.
