As had been rumored for a while, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have both publicly confirmed that they are leaving 'American Idol' after this season, following the announcement that Randy Jackson was also retiring. This leaves Keith Urban as the last judge standing, though perhaps not for long.

Keith Urban may sometimes serve as the referee between warring fellow 'American Idol' judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, but that doesn't mean it's all sweetness and light for the country superstar. The stories, videos...audio recordings etc...etc. This latest round of celeb dirt comes from the studios where "American Idol" is taped. I’m super pumped Keith Urban signed on to American Idol late last week. Honestly, I probably would have started to slowly stop watching the show if it wasn’t for him accepting the offer of 3 million bucks. Nikki Minaj is all for being a judge, they’re just working out details on her money sum, and of course Mariah Carey signed on for $18 million (just to tell people how good they are on reality TV?! Holy smokes -- haha!). Are the new judges going to keep you watching? Or are you done with the show?
