Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz was incredibly optimistic that he would be able to negotiate a new long term lease with the Buffalo Bills before training camp started. Training camp has since come and gone. They haven't been able to land a long term deal but were able to get a one year extension done. However, he met with reporters today to explain why.
It's been brought up again. Should The Bills make a new home in downtown Buffalo or should they plan on setting up camp in Orchard Park again for a couple years? There are pro's and con's to both sides and I'm sure part of me says that I'm selfish for saying it, but I hope they DON'T move.
Today was a big day for the Buffalo Bills. The first news came earlier today with the announcement that Stevie Johnson and The Bills had agreed on a contract extension. The next bit of news deals with the home of the bills, Ralph Wilson Stadium.
