Last night was a beautiful night for a show at Mickey Rats Beach Club, and James Wesley from Broken Bow records put on a fantastic show. I spoke with James before the show, and he mentioned how thankful he is to the fans in Western New York. He totally loved playing for a crowd of over 700 people along the water with a fantastic sunset. This was the fifth annual benefit show at Mickey Rats, where proceeds support the St. Luke’s Food Pantry, Wings of Hope and other area charities. I was impressed with the staff and thank Mickey Rats tremendously for their hospitality.

WYRK is back at Mickey Rats this summer hosting the annual ‘Country on the Coast’ concert starring James Wesley Tuesday June 19th. Tickets are just $10 at the door and proceeds will benefit the Saint Luke’s food pantry and other area charities. James Wesley is one of my favorite new artists; I love his new song ‘Walking Contradiction’. But he has also had success with songs like ‘Real’ and ‘Didn’t I’.
