The Swon Brothers made a name for themselves covering well known songs on The Voice, showing their love of country and the ability to handle the greats. They continued to cover the greats by mixing in some covers at their show at Mickey Rats!

I don't think there is any denying that The Swon Brothers show at Mickey Rats was a success on all fronts!

We had a crazy good time this past Friday out at the annual benefit Country on the Coast concert at Mickey Rats. The Swon Brothers from 'The Voice' came to the beach with us on a gorgeous night and put on quite the entertaining show.

We spoke with Richie from Mickey Rats on the show on Wednesday about opening day, which is this coming Friday (4/18). True, there may still be some ice on Lake Erie, but that won't keep us from getting the summer rolling!

The snowfall has left more than thousands of people in Western New York inconvenienced with power outages this past weekend and then some. Mickey Rats Beach Club owner Richie Alberts says that he came to check on the bar which, received about 5 feet of snow only to find a giant surprise...

Joe Nichols said that he had just come from Florida and didn't know what to expect when he came to Buffalo. Not only did he think we had some very good looking women, he couldn't believe the view from the patio at Micky Rats! It really was a beautiful night last night for our Country On The Coast benefit show, and we got a bunch of pictures of it that we want to share with you!

What a great time we had on Saturday at Mickey Rats for our Sun Of A Beach Festival! I have to admit, I was worried the weather wouldn't cooperate. However, around 2:30 p.m., the skies cleared and the sun came out as bright as ever! When the temperature heated up, so did the fun!

Country 1065 WYRK is back at the beach this summer! Country on the Coast is happening every Thursday night at Mickey Rats and Captain Kidds, and this coming Thursday, July 25, we've got something special going on!

Blackberry Smoke stopped by Mickey Rats last week to play for our WYRK listener lunch winners! The band is beloved by Zac Brown and is signed to ZBB's Southern Ground Artists label.
