Dyngus Day is Monday, March 28th, 2016 and Buffalo will get it's fill of pussy willows and polish music. Traditionally the Monday after Easter is a giant Polish Celebration in Buffalo, New York and this Dyngus Day should be as festive as Dyngus Days past.

Dyngus Day has been celebrated for years in Buffalo.  Although some people from out of town don't really get the tradition, it's something that we've been doing for years!  The party may have changed over the years, but the spirit hasn't.

KidsFest is this weekend, and Mike Randall will be on hand with some of his puppets! We had a chance to not only talk to Mike, but also Dudley The Duck!

Having listened to Channel 7's meteorologist Mike Randall, there is a pretty good chance that high wind and rain could cause downed power lines and outages in Western New York. Here are five steps to take prior to the approaching storm.

When there is big weather news, we are lucky to have the team from Channel 7 on our side. Mike Randall joined us to share his insight about what we can expect here in Western New York from Hurricane Sandy.

Mike has been with WKBW-TV for 28 years filling a number of duties including feature reporter. He received his Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. He also earned the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society as well as the National Weather Association.

At least here in Western New York the mammoth storm we'd been hearing about kinda fizzled.  Depending on what source you were depending on the forecast said we could get anywhere from 8 to 16 inches of snow - maybe more.  And with high winds it could create some very dangerous conditions.
