The racing this weekend at Bristol should be different from what was seen back in March. Since then the concrete surface was shaved down to bring back the kind of racing that fans used to love at Bristol – all the fender bumping and grinding. It was about five years ago they made a change that allowed more side-by-side racing and eliminated most of the bumping, but the fans didn’t like it.

Ambrose Makes It Two In A Row At The Glen

For the second year in a row Marcos Ambrose wins at Watkins Glen, but he got a big helping hand. Oil on the track from the car of Bobby Labonte jumbled the running order and it set up a final lap duel between Ambrose and Brad Keselowski. Ambrose made the right move on the final turn and not only gave him the win but his fourth straight top-three finish.
