A dominating day by Clint Bowyer at Sonoma – leading 71 of 112 laps to win his first race of the season and for the first time on a road course. It’s Bowyer’s first win since last October and his first win with Michael Waltrip Racing. Bowyer had to walk to victory lane though because he ran out of gas doing his victory lap.

For the second straight week, Sprint Cup drivers will race on a newly repaved track. The two-mile Michigan International Speedway is the next stop on the schedule. Five drivers -- Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski and Juan Pablo Montoya all did a Goodyear Tire test at Michigan and speeds reached as high as 216 mph.

Jimmie Johnson Continues Dominance at Dover [VIDEO]

Yesterday’s Sprint Cup race at Dover started out badly with 13 cars including defending Cup champion Tony Stewart involved in a wreck on just the ninth lap. It ended the day of 6 drivers early.

After that it was Jimmie Johnson’s day to shine on a cloudy day. Johnson led 289 of the 400 laps for his seventh victory at the one-mile track tying Richard Petty and Bobby Allison for most career victories at the Monster Mile.

Keselowski Uses Late Pass To Win At Talladega [VIDEO]

The pack was back at Talladega and it was in response to fan complaints that they didn’t like the tandem style racing we saw at the restrictor plate tracks last year.  NASCAR made adjustments and it brought back the high speed, on the edge of your seat type racing that fans really enjoy.  After a crash with four laps left, it came down to a two lap race to the finish and it was Brad Keselowski who used a big push from Kyle Busch to get by Matt Kenseth, and then held off Busch for his second win this season.
