Joey Logano raced past an out-of-fuel Kevin Harvick on the final lap to win the Cheez-It 355 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Watkins Glen, NY on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday's Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen came down to fuel mileage just like the race at Pocono the week before. And once again the leader ran out of gas. This time it was Kevin Harvick who led a race-high 29 laps, but his engine quit in the final turn. And as he began to coast down the final straightaway Joey Logano, then Kyle Busch were able to pass him forcing Harvick into a third place finish.
Matt Kenseth Races to Thrilling Win at Pocono
Thanks to smart fuel conservation, Matt Kenseth was able to pass several drivers down the stretch and win NASCAR’s Windows 10 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. on Sunday afternoon.

It was a fuel-mileage race that a number of drivers gambled on and lost including Joey Logano, who led 97 of 160 laps but finished 12th when he ran out gas with three laps to go. Kyle Busch inherited the lead, but instead of winning his fourth straight race he ran out of gas too and didn't even make it back to the finish line. The gas tank of Martin Truex, Jr. went dry too.

Kyle Busch held off Joey Logano on a green-white-checker restart and won his third consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race by capturing the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard — Indianapolis Motor Speedway — on Sunday.
