Jamie McMurray says it's what every race car driver dreams about every day to be put in that position.  He was talking about holding the million dollar check that comes with winning the Sprint All Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He says he was even thinking about what he would do with the money if he won.  That was to send his kids to college.

Jeff Gordon's 89th career Cup victory at Kansas Speedway Saturday night makes him the 9th driver in 11 races this season to end up in victory lane.  It's his third victory at Kansas and he becomes the first winner of a night-time race at the track.  He not only holds on to his series points lead, but now he has a victory to go along with it.

It was a crazy night at Richmond International Raceway.  It began with pole sitter Kyle Larson being bumped by Clint Bowyer in the first turn of the first lap and ended with pushing and shoving and even a punch thrown in the pits after the race.  In between there were flaming tires, plenty of spins and the season's second two-time winner.

Kevin Harvick became the first two-time Cup winner this season by passing Dale Earnhardt, Jr. on the next to last lap in the second green, white, checkered event to win the Bojangles Southern 500 Saturday night at Darlington Speedway.  It all but assures him of a spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship this fall as long he finished within the Top 30 in points.

A dominating day for Kevin Harvick at Phoenix International Raceway.  He had the best car in both of Saturday's two practice sessions, then moved through the field from his 13th starting spot to take the lead. He led an amazing 224 of 312 laps for his fifth career win at Phoenix and first for his new Stewart-Haas Racing team.
