I’ve been keeping up with the show “The Voice” and was happy to see Dia Frampton as the last person standing for team Blake. Even cooler news, Miranda Lambert is going to sing with Dia this week.
We all know Blake Shelton as one of the stars of NBC's"The Voice". In a recent interview with RollingStone.Com, he stated that he almost passed up the opportunity to be apart of the show. The major reason , he never saw himself as a television star and just some country boy from Okalahoma. However, when he found out Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera were going to be on board, he decieded that he had to do it.
Last night on “The Voice” Blake Shelton performed his number 1 hit “Honeybee” with help from his team Dia and Xenia. Blake went in to the audience a few times during the performance and he seemed to be having a great time.
Did they think nobody would notice? It was blatant and moments after it aired social network sites were burning up with criticism and anger. It was NBC's omission of the words "under God" during the recitation of the pledge of allegiance by a classroom of children. Also omitted was the phrase "one nation".
The live shows began last night on 'The Voice' and team 'Blake' and team 'Christina' went head to head. It all started with an explosive performance from the coaches Adam, Cee Lo, Blake and Christina rockin' to Queen, it was very cool. Then on to the battle, there were some obvious stand outs including Dia Frampton from team Blake, wow she blew me away performing a Kayne West song 'Heartless'.

So I've been watching the show 'The Voice' and enjoying it too. I love the banter between the coaches and find it interesting to see some of the contestant’s paired with a coach that doesn't fit the artist’s genre. A few artists last night took a risk by performing the coaches’ songs. Curtis Grimes did just that by singing Blake Shelton’s “Hillbilly Bone”.
Tonight is the premiere of ' The Voice' where the contestants sing without being seen by the panel. The panel then choices who they would like to mentor based on that person's voice only. The panel includes Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera.
Will Ferrell is heading to The Office. He signed on to do 4 episodes, three of them he will star alongside his “Anchorman” co-star Steve Carell who is leaving the show. Wills’ character is a temp who is just as incompetent as Steve’s character Michael. Who thought of this? Actually, it was Will Ferrell’s idea to do the guest spots.
TV was a lot different more than 50 years ago. It was at the end of March 1949 when the final episode of the TV show “I'd Like to See” was aired. The idea behind the show was viewers were invited to send in suggestions about things they’d like to see on TV. Early requests included the United Nations building, Edgar Bergen and his dummy Charlie McCarthy and film clips of U.S. Presidents. People just hadn’t ever seen these things before and it was the prototype for the series “You Asked for It”, which ran from 1950 to 1959.
