Lady Antebellum has had number one hits, they've won awards and have played sold out arena's across the country.  One thing haven't done until now is perform on Saturday Night Live.  That changes tomorrow night, Lady Antebellum is the musical guest on SNL.  Here is a promo with host and recent Emmy winner Melissa McCarthy, who by the way I think  is hilarious.

I’ve always said that Martina McBride could sing the phone book and make it sound beautiful, so singing the National Anthem will be an easy task for her.  Martina will sing the anthem before the NFL game between the Ravens and New York Jets this Sunday Night.  The game will be broadcast on NBC and is one of the first games included in the NFL Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.

With all of the talent reality shows, regular reality shows, dancing shows, sitcoms, etc......To me, The Sing Off is above and beyond when it comes to pure vocal talent and entertainment, for that matter.  Nothing is sweeter than tight harmony.  Nothing is more creative than taking a great song, adding a twist ( all a Capella) and making it sound even better.  American Idol has jumped the shark, D

I'm very happy for 'Big' Vinny Hickerson from the group "Trailer Choir" for taking the first step to get himself healthy. Hopefully he will no longer be "Rockin' The Beer Gut" as he has joined the reality t.v. show "The Biggest Loser" and will be shedding pounds to win the biggest prize of all...his health.
