Memorial Day is this country’s annual salute to the men and woman of the armed forces who gave their lives in service of their country. There are dozens of services and ceremonies planned locally. But we were talking earlier this week about Memorial Day parades in this area and I was able to find a list of some of the more notable ones.

I know a lot of people are real psyched for this weekend's St. Patty's day drunk-fest. Many guys I know are renting buses, readying costumes...etc...etc I, for one, want no part of it this year. I've done it many years in the past and I've just lost interest. Maybe I'm growing up...lol...or to some growing boring/old! If you take the time to Youtube--St. Patty's Day Buffalo NY....you'll find a lot of videos and 50% of them are the brawls. I know a number of guys involved in a few of the videos. The one I chose to show you is free of any of my friends/acquaintances.....This is the reason why I don't go anymore....(and it's not the bagpipes).....
