Meghan Linsey on Steel Magnolia's Future: 'You Never Know'

You can't accuse Steel Magnolia singer Meghan Linsey of being a pessimist. Despite an incredibly rough patch over the last couple of years that included her partner/fiancee Joshua Scott Jones going to rehab, the duo losing their record deal and then ending their personal relationship, she refuses to discount the possibility of them recording together again.

Things seem to have gotten quite rocky for country duo Steel Magnolia. Over the last couple weeks Meghan Linsey has been performing shows alone since Joshua Scott Jones entered rehab to treat undisclosed addictions. Now, Tricities.com has set off a bunch of possible rumors that the group is no longer together personally or professionally.

As they say in showbiz the show must go on and that’s exactly what will happen for Steel Magnolia’s Meghan Linsey, but not without help from singer James Otto. Let me explain, a few weeks ago Meghan told fans that her duo partner Joshua Scott Jones would enter rehab to work on getting healthy. Of course that’s a good thing but Steel Magnolia is part of the Reba tour which obviously is a big opportunity for Steel Magnolia and of course Meghan. Here is where James Otto comes in; James will fill in for Josh on the tour.

Monday night I told you about how Steel Magnolia has been breaking out all kinds of videos of them covering other people's songs. They've done a cover of Katy Perry's "E.T.", they did Adele's "Rolling In The Deep", and recently they posted a video of them doing a song that was written by Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott, Luke Laird and Hillary Lindsey.
