Tanya made her debut with Mel Tillis, who was so impressed by her talent that he invited her onstage to perform. From there she and her family moved to Las Vegas were she performed on a regular basis. Her first hit was ‘Delta Dawn’ which was released in 1972; she was just 13 years old at the time.
