In December Brad Paisley began rehearsals for his upcoming tour which he just renamed the Virtual Reality Tour 2012.  After working on his new high tech stage, Brad decided the previous tour title Camobunga World Tour really didn’t work so he went ahead and changed the name.

The Band Perry performed their smash crossover hit ‘If I Die Young,’ which truly put the threesome on the map, at Dick Clark’s big party last night (Dec. 31). The trio soared through the song on ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.’ The event took place in both New York and Hollywood, with the Bant Perry’s performance airing from the West Coast.

The Band Perry had a banner year in 2011, due in large part to the crossover success of ‘If I Die Young.’ They will soar into 2012 with another heralded appearance. The trio of siblings will perform the national anthem at the AT&T Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas on Jan. 6, reports CMT.

Before all the festivities got underway last night at the Grammy Nomination Concert , a number of country music stars jumped on Twitter to share some of their thoughts.

The "Grammy Nominations Concert Live" was held last night in Los Angeles and country music was sure represented well!  Taylor Swift is up for 3 nominations (wonder where she stores all these darn awards!), Blake Shelton is also up for 3 and there were some really cool performances on the show.  Check out The Band Perry, Jason Aldean w/ Ludacris and Sugarland w/ Lady Gaga right here!....

Over the Thanksgiving weekend I decorated my tree and my house for the holidays and watched a lot of TV. Seems networks like HGTV, Hallmark channel, Lifetime and ABC Family channel are all decked out with Christmas programming. Yes I’m a girl and I watch all these channels.
