The sequel to the 2009 smash comedy took in a whopping $105.8 million over four days, helping to make this weekend the biggest Memorial Day weekend ever at the box office.

Even better for 'Part II,' its $86.0 intake between Friday and Sunday was the highest ever for a comedy, and the second-highest for an R-rated movie, behind only 'The Matrix Reloaded.'

Tattoo Artist's Attempt To Block "Hangover 2″ Denied http://wyrk.com/tattoo-artists-attempt-to-block-hangover-2-denied/ http://wyrk.com/tattoo-artists-attempt-to-block-hangover-2-denied/#comments Tue, 24 May 2011 22:57:12 +0000 Dale Mussen http://wyrk.com/?p=18545 A federal judge has turned down the attempt of a tattoo artist to block the release of "The Hangover: Part II" over his claims of copyright infringement.  Victor Whitmill is the guy who designed the facial tattoo for former boxer Mike Tyson, the same design that shows up on the face of actor Ed Helms in the new movie.  Whitmill wanted to stop "Hangover 2's" release this week, but the judge said it would be too much of a hardship for Warner Bros., the studio that made the movie, and on the theaters that will screen it this weekend.
