So I've been watching the show 'The Voice' and enjoying it too. I love the banter between the coaches and find it interesting to see some of the contestant’s paired with a coach that doesn't fit the artist’s genre. A few artists last night took a risk by performing the coaches’ songs. Curtis Grimes did just that by singing Blake Shelton’s “Hillbilly Bone”.
If you have been watching The Voice on NBC. I am sure you have seen and heard Frenchie Davis. You may recognize her from American Idol a few years back. Well she has risen above a good deal of drama and hard times and we had a chance to chat with her about her performances, personal life and outlook on life!
Tonight is the premiere of ' The Voice' where the contestants sing without being seen by the panel. The panel then choices who they would like to mentor based on that person's voice only. The panel includes Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera.
I believe that Blake Shelton has become one of country music's best characters. There's no question that the guy can sing but what I love about him is his ability to entertain. He's got that, "What's he gonna say next?" quality to him. Recently he was on "Chelsea Lately" to talk about "The Voice." Check out the video after the jump.
