By now you've all heard that the home of country music star Trace Adkins was severely damaged in a fire Saturday afternoon in Brentwood Tennessee. Trace was away on a fishing trip in Alaska when he received the call about the fire.

June 5, 2011 Trace Adkins was on his way to Alaska for a fishing trip when his home was destroyed by fire Saturday afternoon in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood. Adkins' two youngest daughters and a sitter were at home at the time and escaped unhurt along with family pets. Adkins' wife returned to the house about 10 minutes after the fire started as additional firefighters were being called to the scene. When Adkins found out about the fire he immediately returned to Nashville.
