People all over the country tipped their hats off to Jay Leno last night as he had his final episode ever of 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'. After 22 years, Leno says that it is time and celebrated with friends and guests that he's had on over the past years.
Though not entirely surprising given NBC's earlier move to cancel struggling freshman Thursday comedy 'Sean Saves the World,' the network has officially pulled the plug on its more high-profile 'Michael J. Fox Show.' The veteran 'Family Ties' and 'Back to the Future' star had completed work on the 22-episode order, though the remaining episodes may never see the light of day.
Airing right after Super Bowl XXII in 1988, the much-hyped pilot for 'The Wonder Years' made an immediate impression. After just six episodes the show was awarded an Emmy for Best Comedy Series, and its 13-year old star Fred Savage became the youngest ever performer to be nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
