I've heard plenty of stories from fishermen about the fish that they've caught. Most of them are a little exaggerated. But 16-year-old Jake Sawyer has video evidence to prove that the 40-pound carp that he caught with his hands was completely real.

It happened last week during a flash flood in North Royalton, Ohio. With the streets flooded, neighbors noticed the bubbles that the fish created in the street. After trying to wrangle it for a few minutes, Jake was finally able to gather the massive fish in his arms.

He guessed that it may have come from a nearby pond and didn't want it to get stuck somewhere in the street and die. So being a true catch-and-release guy, he walked it back to the pond, where it will live to swim another day.
