Last summer the Ice Bucket Challenge took the country by storm and helped to raise a bunch of money for a great cause.  Now, a veteran is looking to have the same success with the 22 Push Up Challenge.

According to a recent study, on average 22 veterans and 1 active duty soldier commit suicide everyday.  That's 2-3 times the civilian rate.  So a new challenge has been issued.

It's called the 22 Push Up Challenge.  In this challenge you have 22 hours to complete 22 pushups.  If you do your pushups, you're then encouraged to donate $10 to a foundation called #22Kill which is designed to help create awareness of veteran suicide.  You can also donate to StopSoldierSuicide.org.  If you cannot complete your pushups, then they encourage you to donate $22 to signify the 22 veterans who die every day from suicide.
