The 990 Renamed In Honor Of Sergeant William Wilson III

The 990 now has a new name.  According to WKBW, It is now the Staff Sergeant William Wilson III Memorial Highway in honor of a soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan.

Family and friends gathered yesterday to honor Staff Sergeant William Wilson III as the highway was renamed. he was killed in Afghanistan at a security checkpoint in March of 2012.

His mother, Kim Wilson, says she wants the name to serve as an honor, and for the community to "Live your life with Billy's values. Care for your neighbors. Watch out for everybody."
