The Backyard Classic Hockey Tournament Returns To Buffalo

This is a great event for hockey players of all ages and skill levels!

I was sent the details about this really great pond hockey event that will be played at Canalside for it's 11 year in March of 2019.

According to the press release...

The weekend will begin with a kickoff party on Friday March 1st. Featuring an open skate with proceeds benefiting Roswell Park. The Tournament begins on Saturday where all teams are guaranteed at least 3 games and children starting at age 6, going all the way up to adults will compete for a great cause.

The Backyard Classic Director, Chris Taggart said that this year it will be more than a Charity Pond Hockey Tournament. Taggart hopes it will become a Skate for Roswell Weekend at Canalside. Working with his team to create multiple charity open skating sessions and even appearances by Doug Allen and Sabretooth.
