The Minnesota Vikings have had a week of bad news all in one weekend.  First the Metrodome collapses after a huge snow storm, then they find out that the man who was supposed to get the team into the post season would not be starting this weeks game. It's the first time in 297 games that Brett Favre would not be able to start a game following a hit from The Buffalo Bills' Arthur Moats.

Brett Favre, the eternally young quarterback whose age finally caught up to him this season, did not start Monday night in the Minnesota Vikings’ game against the Giants, snapping one of the most remarkable streaks in sports.
