If you were thinking about registering for this year's Buffalo Marathon, you better get to it.  They announced today that they are 80% full.

This is a race that many premier runners choose to run because it is an opportunity to qualify for the Boston Marathon.  Also, the average temperature on race day is around 62 degrees and for the most part, is a flat course.

Years ago, I ran the Buffalo Half Marathon (actually a couple years in a row) and for a new runner, I loved it.  The energy before the race was crazy.  Granted, I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was for what was ahead, but being a part of it was super exciting.

But if you're looking to join the fun this year, don't wait.  Registration is already at 80% of it's capacity.
