Aim...

Fire!

And pint-sized pumpkins go soaring thousands of feet through the air!

And if that’s not cool enough (but seriously, THOUSANDS OF FEET!), you can test your shooting skills on the smaller cannon. It’s the perfect size, even for the little ones! Do you have what it takes to hit the target?

The Great Pumpkin Cannon is just another one of the fabulous attractions at The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, and this weekend (Saturday, October 13-Sunday, October 14) is the trebuchet contest! Local high schools built life-sized catapults that will launch pumpkins through the air, aiming for the ultimate castle target. Practice shots take place all day Saturday, and the competition is on Sunday. Come check it out!

The Great Pumpkin Farm has become the largest family-friendly event in the region, so don't miss out! The farm is open EVERY DAY from 10 a.m. until dusk, now until Halloween weekend. Bring the whole family for great food, rides, entertainment and, of course, PUMPKINS!

Check back next week to see WYRK navigate the corn maze! Our mission: Locate Farmer Joe.
