Garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, sugar....I'm not really sure of all of the ingredients in the pizza sauce at John's Pizza and Subs.  But for them the key is and always has been the tomato sauce.  So much so that they actually traveled to a California farm to inspect the tomatoes used in the tomato sauce they use.  

Recently I had a chance to sit down with co-owners, Kurt Raepple and Gene Mongan to talk about their pizza and specifically about the sauce that keeps people coming back for more.
