Chris Stewart scored the only goal in the Sabres 4-1 loss at Calgary [Getty Images][/caption]After the All-Star break the Buffalo Sabres picked up right where they left off, losing their 12th straight game at Calgary 4-1.  The Sabres entered the third period tied with the Flames 1-1, exactly where they wanted to be, but Flames dominated the third period scoring three times to hand Buffalo a loss in the first of a four-game road trip.

The Sabres got on the board first with a first period power play goal.  Chris Stewart deflected a shot by Tyler Ennis.  But that's the only time the Sabres would light the lamp the rest of the night.  The Flames tied it three minutes later with their own power play goal.  It remained 1-1 until the third period where the Sabres just imploded.

Next up, a match-up between the two worst teams in the NHL when the Sabres call on the Edmonton Oilers Thursday night.
