The Most Annoying Phrase Or Word In Conversation

We've all got words or phrases that we overuse.  With so many words in the English language, you'd think that we could come up with something new to use.  But then there are just some words and phrases that make your spine tingle everytime you hear them...

According to a recent Marist Poll, the term "Whatever" is still the most annoying word or phrase.  38% of the people polled said that that was the term that pushes their buttons the most.  Actually, it has been at the top of that poll since October of 2009.
