Being a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, I know all about what it feels like to be an underdog. And because I know that feeling so well, I always have a tendency to root for the underdog. In yesterday's Broncos/Steelers NFL Wildcard playoff game, it was Denver that was the clear underdog. Their record of 8 and 8 was just a wee bit better than our own Buffalo Bills.

I have always been a closet Denver Broncos fan since back in the John Elway days. I always thought he was the most talented out of the famed class of '83. I still remember the way Elway could scramble and make those running throws. The Buffalo Bills never had a guy who could do stuff like that. And now, you have a another Denver quarterback who has really commanded a lot of attention this year by the name of Tim Tebow. Tim has certainly been a lightning rod for the Broncos. He may not be the most talented quarterback, but there is something about this guy that is different. And I have to say that I like Tim Tebow. Yesterday my son and I watched the Bronco/Steelers game and what a game it was. It was a nail biter for fans of either team. After watching the first quarter, I thought the Steelers would crush the Broncos, but the second quarter was all Denver with Tim Tebow throwing for a touchdown and rushing for another score. Suddenly, we had a football game! Everyone was on the edge of their seat as the game went into overtime with the score tied, 23-23.  Denver won the coin toss and elected to receive. On the first play of that drive, Denver gave me the most exciting play I have seen all year: Tim Tebow hits Demaryius Thomas for an 80 yard pass play all the way to the end zone for a touchdown and the win. My gut tells me that the Tim Tebow story is far from over yet.
